Dark Is The Sky — News About A Release And Free Read
Posted by Jessica on September 7, 2011
I’m thrilled to be able to tell you all that I’ve recently signed a contract for my second novel! “Dark is the Sky” has been accepted by All Things That Matter Press and will be released later in 2011. I have to admit, I’m particularly excited about this novel. It was such a challenge to write, both technically and emotionally, and I can’t wait to share it with the world.
Blurb:
It’s twelve years since Olivia and Joel Cameron last invited the family to spend the weekend at their new country home, a visit which ended in tragedy when Joel’s younger brother Scott—wild, charming and a magnet for women—was found dead. That very same afternoon, Olivia and Joel’s five-year-old daughter Lottie had a nasty fall, suffering a fractured skull. The repercussions split the Camerons apart. Joel walked out on his comfortable position in the family investment bank and has barely spoken to his brothers since, while Lottie was left unable to remember anything about the days leading up to her accident.
Now, Olivia’s sister has persuaded her to call the family back together for New Year. Still heartbroken over the death of the man she loved, Violet claims this reunion will help her finally lay her ghosts to rest. However, Olivia soon learns that Violet has no intention of releasing her hold on either the past or her dark suspicions. Is there more to Scott’s death than a tragic accident? What really lies beneath Joel’s animosity toward his brothers? And could Lottie’s imprisoned memories conceal a truth that has the power to devastate them all for a second time?
Be sure to keep checking back here for release date news, sneak previews and giveaways. I’m also working on a tie-in novella which will be available for you to download free … that’s right, free … in the run-up to the release of “Dark is the Sky” so stay tuned for more on that.
In the meantime, happy reading!

Oh my goodness, Jess, this is great!! Congratulations! I can’t wait to grab my official copy. I was so impressed with that novel when I read it on TNBW–you really did work hard on weaving an intricate plot, and it worked wonderfully. Yay!!

Thanks so much, Molly. Your support always means so much to me. This will be the first novel I’ve had released in paperback as well, so I’m especially excited! Can’t wait until the moment when I actually get to hold my book in my hands.
